We completed day 4 in the packet today. We had a warm up question of: How many hours of sleep should teenagers get each night? (8-10 hours) And then we began watching the movie Bang, Bang, You're Dead. We are looking for themes of stress and how relationships can cause stress (home, work, school, peer-peer, parent-child, teacher-child, teacher-teacher). You only need to work on page 23 in the packet for the movie. We will finish the response page next class.
We took the sleep IQ quiz, answers and notes are attached. We also read two articles and calculated our bed times. Follow along in your packet, pages 12-19.
We watched a video about teenagers and stress. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Scot0rJGtUA) We also learned stress management skills, they are attached below. Complete pages 8-11 in your packet.
In class today we completed Day 1 in the Stress Management Unit, follow along in the packet for assignments. We also began our sleep log, on page 1 of the packet. You will keep track of your sleep for a whole week. If you missed the vocab activity you are to do it on your own using the internet to find the definitions, but you do not have to make a poster, just fill out your packet.
